This village Bawm (pronounced «Bôm») includes 35 families, a school and a church. The Bawms are Christians, but not all belong to the same congregation, so it is not rare to see several churches in the same village. The churches are usually constructed in hard, painted white and decorated with a blue sheet roof. They are not adorned with a cross.
