WHITE ORCHID
On a street perpendicular to New Beach Road, at the height of the dreadful Sea Palace, White Orchid enjoys a slightly more quiet situation. This mid-range hotel distinguishes itself from many other equivalents by a large glass lobby on several levels: A reception in the green, a restaurant and a coffee that sells ice from the American brand Baskin Robbins. The rooms have a little bit of character and the furniture is worth filling in the space, but they are of impeccable cleanliness and the bed, thick, will guarantee you a cosy nights. The hotel focuses on an impeccable, professional and friendly service. The Greasy Spoon restaurant serves excellent traditional cuisine despite its confusing («grasse spoon») name.
