BANQUITAS HOUSE OF CULTURE
Museum on the banks of the New River, recounting the history of the region and hosting temporary exhibitions of national scope
On the banks of the New River, this (small) town museum traces the history of the region and its culture through explanatory panels hung on the wall. In the middle of the room, you'll find a model of the town, as well as a number of display cases featuring ancient ceramics. Nothing incredible, but if you're looking for information on the region, this is a good place to start. It also exhibits local artists and hosts temporary national exhibitions.
