This conservation area lies deep in the forest at the north-western tip of the country. This research station is just 5 km on foot from the La Milpa archaeological zone (one of sixty archaeological sites identified along the Rio Bravo River). The order of the day is hiking along marked trails, forest treks and birdwatching. A stay of just a few days will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the environment and observe no fewer than 150 species of birds found in the area.
