The Magana brothers, descendants of the Mayas, made the sad observation several years ago that tourists were visiting Mayan sites that had been inactive for hundreds or even thousands of years, without realizing that this civilization was still around. However, the Mayans are still very much present in Belize, and this site is here to prove it. Under constant construction, this is the only Mayan site built by descendants of the Yucatán Mayas, according to the architectural principles of the time. A family project that has grown in stature.
