The Herbularium was created in 1987 and focuses on all the plant species found in the Morvan region of Saint-Brisson.
Created in 1987, the herbularium is inspired by the medieval herbularius, and focuses on all Morvan plant species. On 8 boxwood-lined plots, 170 species are cultivated and labelled. The presentation is complemented by explanatory panels. Special biological environments also showcase regional flora. The flowerbeds devoted to plant use are fascinating, evoking a popular pharmacopoeia that is more than ever back in fashion these days. Strolling here, along the banks of the pond around which the trail winds, is pure pleasure!
