LAURA SECORD HOMESTEAD
Interpretive tours of a historic house in Queenston, the former home of heroine Laura Secord.
This is the home of a hero in Canadian history, Laura Secord. During the War of 1812, the girl risked her life to warn the British of a surprise attack prepared by the invading American neighbour. The house is decorated as it was then (Laura lived there from 1803 to 1835) and, throughout the day, costumed guides offer interpretive tours of this historic house. Before leaving the premises, don't forget to get some delicious Laura Secord chocolates.
