The astronomical observatory is an extension of the sanctuary, inaugurated on November 9, 1972. Its relatively high altitude (1,750 m) provides a quality sky for observations with a 600 mm-diameter telescope and a large 150 mm-diameter telescope. Amateur instruments are also available for use during evening events scheduled throughout the year. Please contact us in advance by e-mail for dates.
