Like the other galleries on the site, Galeria G16 is architecturally very successful, and seems perfectly at one with nature. One part of the gallery is underground, while the other seems suspended in mid-air. Miguel Rio Branco's works are a striking blend of photographs and audiovisuals. The site plays on the contrast of light. The lower room is lit by indirect light, while the upper room is shrouded in darkness.
