CHAPEL OF NUESTRA SEÑORA DE MUSKILDA
Romanesque chapel from the 12th century at the top of the Muskilda mountain, a place of pilgrimage during the patronal feasts of Ochagavía
Located four kilometres from Ochagavía, this 12th-century Romanesque chapel, surrounded by a wall and flanked by a hermit's house, stands at the top of the Muskilda mountain at an altitude of over 1,000 metres. It can be reached on foot by a small path that starts from the top of the village. Every year, a pilgrimage takes place on 8 September during the patron saint fiestas of Ochagavía. This is an opportunity to enjoy the spectacle of dancers in regional dress.
