In a former farmhouse serving as a wine cellar, the hotel Porto Cristo was established in 1960. Completely renovated since then, the last time in 2015 is a spa hotel with the best services. Located near the beach of Port de la Selva, it now offers rooms, all overlooking the outside, with views over the sea or mountain and sometimes a terrace. They are well equipped with wooden, wood and stone furniture, some with jacuzzi tub or jacuzzi tub. Two minutes from the hotel, noon and evening, you can enjoy a terrace on the sea and the harbour to taste fish and seafood from the Costa Brava in the restaurant of the Monterrey Hotel. More, a tea and coffee service available all day and a solarium terrace on the roof.

Malheureusement, la chambre a une décoration vieillotte (contrairement aux chambres vues sur le site) et est mal insonorisée, il y a un manque de modernité. La télécommande du spa n'est plus fixe à celui-ci et il n'y a pas de dentifrice ce qui est dommage pour un 4 étoiles.
