ECO-MUSEUM FARINERA
The visit to this industrial building allows you to better understand the mechanisms of transformation of wheat into flour
Built in 1905, this large three-storey industrial building was erected on the site of the Mig Mill, one of the three medieval mills in the city that took advantage of the passage of the old canal. The old machinery can be seen here, most of it made of wood and part of it was renovated in the mid-twentieth century. At present it is attached to the Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia. The visit is instructive and allows visitors to get to know and understand better the mechanisms for transforming wheat into flour, based on the Austro-Hungarian system.
