SANT PERE D'ALP CHURCH
A church built in the 11th century with a 14th century gothic painting representing the figure of Saint Christopher
Built in the 11th century, the church of Sant Pere d'Alp is the only example of Romanesque construction in the area with a three-nave basilica. The side chapels are of later construction, and the building houses a 14th-century Gothic painting depicting the figure of Saint Christopher. Two sculptures of the Virgin from here have been preserved, one in the Girona Art Museum and the other in the Episcopal Museum of Vic. It should also be noted that the door to the east is the only primitive opening in the building.
