A statue erected on the main square of Alp, in front of the town hall, in honor of a deer shot by a hunter
Alpi is the name of a deer that had once been tamed by a resident of Alp, playing with the local children, and over time came to live with the villagers as if he were one of them, coming and going according to his moods. One day, he was unluckily shot by a hunter who couldn't tell the difference between an ordinary stag and Alpi. Today, a statue in his honor has been erected in Alp's main square, opposite the town hall, along with a commemorative plaque recounting this beautiful but tragic mountain story.
