CHURCH OF SANTA CECÍLIA DE MOLLÓ
Visit this parish church, dedicated to Saint Cecilia and admire its finely decorated entrance portal
There are records of the existence of this parish church dedicated to Saint Cécile in the th century, but the building currently visible probably only dates back to the th century. It has a unique nave, surmounted by a arched vault supported by external pillars, and is lined with a simple apse. The clocher, with its Lombard influence, has five floors and has some similarities with the steeple of the church Sant Cristòfol de Beget, while the doorway is finely decorated, in a style close to that of the Ecole du Roussillon. Demolished during the earthquake of 1427-1428 and rebuilt again, again damaged during the civil war, it was again restored in 1953.
