SANT JAUME CHURCH
Visit this church dedicated to Sant Jaume and admire its porch with six arches supported by blue marble columns
Consecrated in the th century, this church dedicated to Sant Jaume is extended two centuries later, in agreement with the increase in the population of Queralbs. Composed of a single nave covered with a high-level vault, it was added, after the damage caused by the earthquakes of 1427-1428, a small bell as well as two side chapels and a chore. The most remarkable element of this small building is undoubtedly its porch with six arches supported by columns of blue marble. The sculpted capitals of these columns are very well preserved, giving to human figures and animals, real and fantastic.
