SANT VICENÇ DE CANET CHURCH
A parish church mentioned as early as 822, whose western façade has been completely rebuilt, with its Renaissance-style doorway
Although this was the site of the parish church first mentioned in 822, the building visible today has its origins in an 11th-century construction. Extensive restoration work was carried out in the 16th century: the west facade was completely rebuilt, with its Renaissance-style doorway, as was the bell tower in the middle of the central nave. In 1936, the church was partially destroyed by fire, resulting in the disappearance of a large part of the parish archives.
