SANT PERE DE LLORÀ CHURCH
A parish church composed of a nave with a semicircular apse and two small side apses
According to recent archaeological excavations, it would appear that the parish church of Llorà, dating back to 1058, was built on the remains of a more ancient building. It is composed of a semi circular apse nave and two small side apses, recently discovered in good conservation condition. The steeple is also novel, while the chore and the choir were added to the whole in 1731. Here, too, are the paintings discovered recently on the bottom of the main apse, representing, in the midst of medallions, real and fantastic animals, and human feet.
