Hotel with restaurant and terrace in a remarkable setting in Sant Marti Vell.

This is a hotel not like the others: the 18 guest rooms are located in the hostel of a sanctuary of 1409, sponsored by Bishop Descatllar, refurbished and modernised. It is 484 metres above sea level and is an exceptional vantage point on the Gavarres massif, and on sunny days we even see the Mediterranean Sea. The rooms are quietly decorated and have comfortable bedding. The extensive service room overlooks the Costa Brava and the restaurant's terrace is looking inside the peninsula. Many activities are possible at the beginning of the sanctuary: walking or cycling, but you can also watch the stars via the observatory on the last floor of the building. Beautiful setting.

Hola...de hecho en esta ocasion subi en coche, no conocia el sitio, me encontre con una competicion ciclista, habia un mogollon, unos de subida y otros de bajada...con lo estrecha que es la carretera, la falta de visibilidad y las curvas en pendiente, no es?de extranar ver flores en recuerdo de los que pasando por ahi perdieron la vida. El santuario en si es pequeño, se accede a la Virgen por una escalera ancha lateral. No vi ascensor e ignoro si existe. La sala capitular de la Virgen como todas no es muy ancha pero esta muy bien conservada y con descansos para orar. Justo al lado en una pequeña habitacion se situan los votos o exvotos, no dejando de ser una sala llena de emociones y emotividad humana llena de esperanza o gracias. Volvere...hay un restaurante y quiza hasta lo curiosee.
