The large Plaça Major or Plaça de la Vila, better known as Plaça Porxada (Plaza de los arcades), is located in the centre of the village and it is around it that the whole town is organized. It is considered the second largest arcaded plaza in Catalonia and is characterised by the diversity of porches that make it up. There are no trees or flowers here, only paved pavements. A real centre of social life, a large market is held here every Wednesday and many celebrations are regularly held there.
