MAS JOAN ARBORETUM
Don't miss an invigorating stroll through this arboretum, home to an impressive variety of monumental trees
Set around a 12th century masia, the Mas Joan arboretum is home to an impressive number and variety of monumental trees, including some sixty species of conifers, some of which are over 40 metres tall, and redwoods, the tallest of which reaches 45 metres and has a circumference of 201 centimetres. The walk is invigorating, and even refreshing when the sun is blazing. The Mas also acts as a nursery, which should be of interest to botanists and other budding gardeners.
