SANT ANDREU DE SOCARRATS CHURCH
The original church of Sant Andreu de Socarrats has a nave with a slightly pointed vault, lined with a semicircular apse
The original church of Sant Andreu de Socarrats was demolished and in its place was built the current building, of Romanesque style. Consecrated in 1117 by Dalmau Berenguer, Bishop of Girona, he lost his parish church status in 1580, passing under the administration of Sant Joan les Fonts. Above all, it will appreciate its slightly marked nave, lined with a semi-circular apse - which was added to murals in the 1940 s - and its original font font. During restorations in 1983, part of the additions of the th century were moved.
