FAGEDA D'EN JORDÀ
A beech forest with a very rich flora that has developed on a lava flow of the Croscat volcano
La Fageda d'en Jordà is a beech grove with a very rich flora that developed on a lava flow from the Croscat volcano. The terrain is therefore surprisingly rugged, with tossols, a sort of prominence of petrified magma, scattered throughout the woods and reaching heights of up to 20 metres. It is possible to travel through this beech forest on foot, by bicycle or in horse-drawn carriages. It will cost you a few euros per person for an hour's walk. Be careful, backpack and good shoes are highly recommended.
