MEDIEVAL CASTLE ESTADA JUVINYÀ
The medieval castle Estada Juvinyà is one of the best preserved civil constructions of the Middle Ages in Catalonia
It is one of the best preserved civil constructions of the Middle Ages in Catalonia and was the residence of a family of knights, the Juvinyàs. It consists of two separate buildings: the 12th century tower and the residence itself, added in the 14th century. A small canal can also be seen at the foot of the tower, which was used, among other things, to move the machinery of the village's flour mill in the 13th century. The castle has been considered a property of national interest since 1972.
