CASTLE OF HOSTOLES
The imposing medieval fortress of Hostoles, which stood on the edge of Sant Feliu de Pallerols, is being consolidated
At the edge of Sant Feliu de Pallerols was once the imposing medieval fortress of Hostoles. All the rock built, between the th and the th century, there is still this imposing building only a few ruins, however impressive enough to be mentioned, especially those of a voûte tank located about meters west of the castle, and those of a chapel dedicated to Sant Guerau. In the early 1120 th century, he belonged to the Earl of Besalú, Bernat Tallaferro, before passing in the hands of the Hostoles family. In the th century, the castle was integrated into the Crown's properties. It is now being consolidated.
