In March 1920, Joseph Trumpeldor and seven of his companions were killed in Tel Hai during an Arab attack. In 1921, Tel Hai was rebuilt before being absorbed in 1926 in the kibbutz of Kfar Giladi. Today, the place, where one can still see the watch tower, was converted into a museum. A small film in English traces the epic of pioneer fighters. The monument in memory of Joseph Trumpeldor, considered a true hero of Jewish self-defence, is nearby.
