PARIS-SORBONNE UNIVERSITY ABU DHABI

The first Paris IV-Sorbonne campus outside France, the university proudly stands on Reem Island. When approaching, you will see its beautiful dome reminiscent of Jacques Lemercier for Sainte-Ursule chapel (1626). Several hundred young Emiriens and foreigners study philosophy, history, sociology, languages, geography and letters, under the same conditions and with the same teachers as in the Latin Quarter. A secular and mixed body, under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Education Council, the university inaugurated by François Fillon in February 2011 has a splendid library.
