An escapade to meet the Bedouin fauna and traditions in a protected reserve and without the crowds. A unique outing.
Concerned with preserving the culture of the Emirates and its fragile ecosystems, and to promote the best possible immersion, Platimum Heritage is one of the few companies to offer desert tours in "reduced" numbers or in private tours - one private vehicle per couple, family or friends. The highlight of the company's tours is the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve in beautiful 1950s Land Rover convertibles. In addition to the pleasure of driving through the dunes in a wonderfully vintage 4x4, each trip offers the opportunity to get closer to the Bedouin culture and its hospitality. The excursion allows us to criss-cross the sands before reaching a Bedouin camp on camelback to discover the nomadic habitat and the traditions of the desert people: the art of hospitality with coffee and dates, the art of falconry (with a beautiful demonstration possible), the painting with henna, the typical dances and songs of the country. Under the leadership of a guide, the excursion is also punctuated by a delicious dinner. Even more upscale, the Platinum tour is done in a modern Land Rover and ends with a dinner in private "cabins", followed by a fireworks show. For an even more exotic immersion, Platinum Heritage also organizes overnight stays in the desert in traditional Arabian tents comfortably equipped with mattresses - night safari, gourmet dinner and breakfast.
