Artificial lakes covering almost 40 hectares and home to over 170 species of birds, including flamingos, woodcock and herons

Located a 45-minute drive from Dubai, these artificial lakes comprise 10 artificial lakes covering an area of around 40 hectares. Two of them are shaped like intertwined hearts and are known as Love Lakes! More than 170 species of birds, including flamingos, woodcock and herons, take refuge in this reserve. A popular spot for picnics and camping, we recommend it on weekdays to avoid the crowds. You can get there by car or electric bike, as the trails are well signposted. 4X4 recommended.
