With four of the biggest Hollywood film studios united in a single theme park, movie fans and thrill-seekers alike will embark on a journey to the heart of famous American blockbusters revisited for the occasion. No fewer than forty rides and attractions inspired by blockbuster films such as Madagascar, Shrek, Hunger Games and Kung-Fu Panda, to name but a few, are spread across the park's five zones.

Studio Central. This is where the adventure into the heart of cinema begins. Among sets recreating the streets of New York, an opening ceremony like those at the Oscars welcomes visitors, with the help of famous Hollywood characters. Visitors also get a behind-the-scenes look at how a film studio works. Very interesting.

Sony Pictures Studios. Battle ghosts in New York alongside the protagonists of Ghostbusters, visit Hotel Transylvania - the world's only hotel for monsters - aboard coffin-shaped carriages, or follow the Green Hornet for a wild ride on a hair-raising roller coaster, are just some of the options on offer in this section of the park, which features seven attractions and as many shows.

Smurfs Village. The wonderful Smurfs Village features five attractions, some of them interactive, designed primarily for families who can wander through the mushroom houses and say hello to the little blue men who populate the surrounding area. The Smurf Village Express roller coaster, which winds its way through the village's forests and farms, is an ideal way to explore the village.

Dreamworks. Here, the animated films Madagascar, Kung-Fu Panda, Dragons and Shrek take center stage, in a dozen attractions that are 100% indoors for maximum comfort even in the hottest months. This is also where you'll find the fastest roller coaster in the park, with the Madagascar Mad Pursuit attraction. Not to be missed.

Lionsgate. Undoubtedly the most attractive area of the park for action-seeking visitors, with two Hunger Games-inspired attractions, including the Capitol Bullet Train roller coaster, which is not for the faint-hearted, and a live show based on the Sexy Dance films, where hip-hop dancers and rap and pop singers share the stage. This park is more for teenagers and adults than for the little ones, and it's a big hit in Dubai thanks to the quality of its rides.
