Located 30 minutes from downtown Dubai, this fair, halfway between a world exhibition and a funfair, is a great success with the locals who come with their families to enjoy the shows and attractions at dusk. More than thirty countries are represented, each with a pavilion bearing the effigy of its most outstanding monument: the United States can be recognized by the Empire State Building topped by King Kong, France is evoked by the Eiffel Tower, etc. Once inside the pavilions, it is a sort of large market where you can buy culinary or craft specialties specific to the country "visited" . But all of them are different and some are particularly worth a visit thanks to the interior design, which sometimes really reproduces the atmosphere of the country represented. The best example is undoubtedly the one in Tunisia where you would think you were strolling through the souk of a medina. Continuing towards the back of the park, the pavilions give way to the funfair, which is decked out in its most beautiful lights once the sun goes down, and which, with dozens of attractions, has something to delight the most daring as well as the most fearful. For those who prefer to stay on dry land, there are no less than four international shows every night, ranging from Turkish whirling dervishes to Bollywood shows, magic and music. Every evening, at 9 pm, there is a big fireworks display.
