Visit the Gala Dalí Castle and discover the piano room and the old kitchen transformed into a bathroom

After the theater-museum (Figueres) and the house-museum (Portlligat), in Púbol (10 km from La Bisbal) you will find the third pillar of the Dalinian triangle: the Gala Dalí Castle. It allows you to discover an old medieval house bought by the master of surrealism in 1968 and decorated as a tribute to his wife and muse, Gala. Opened to the public since 1996, it became his last studio from 1982 to 1984. We discover in particular the piano room or the former kitchen transformed into a bathroom. On the second floor is the temporary exhibition.

sur les pas de Dali
un incontournable ane manquer en aucun cas, apres la visite du musee theatre dali a figueres, il faut imperativement visiter le château de Pubol, l'interieur est riche d'emotions, on resent les ames du maître et surtout de sa femme gala

Le moins que l'on puisse dire c'est que Dali a bien prévu d'isoler sa belle dans un endroit perdu !!! Pubol est un village un peu perdu sans intérêt particulier, sauf ce palais médiéval aménagé pour sa muse Gala. C'est très beau et, c'est surprenant de la part de Dali, sans extravagances... Tout est de bon goût (sauf peut-être la robinetterie de la salle de bain en plaqué or !!
Visite intéressante avec le jardin et le bassin, agrémentés par plusieurs éléphants-girafes à l'apparence bien identifiable.
