A megalithic complex of impressive dimensions to discover in the surroundings of Romanyà de la Selva
In the surroundings of Romanyà de la Selva, in the middle of a large forest of cork pines and cork oaks, we discover a megalithic ensemble with impressive dimensions. The whole is protected by an outer ring of granite stones 11 metres in diameter. And the dolmen peaked at 1, 5 feet high, 7 feet long and 1,7 feet wide. Built between 2 700 and 2 200 BC, this grave megalithic, was discovered at the beginning of the th century. Excavations conducted in 1957 resulted in the updating of many bones, as well as teeth, silex, fragments fragments, remnants of ceramics and jewellery. He was declared a national monument in 1931.
