NARSARSUAQ MUSEUM
Museum retracing the history of Narsarsuaq as an American base through a collection of photographs and objects.
Adjacent to the Blue Ice Café and therefore a stone's throw from the airport, this museum reconstitutes the history of Narsarsuaq since its creation in 1941 as an American base. You can learn more about this fascinating history through an impressive collection of photographs and period objects in different rooms. The museum also includes a section on the Viking settlement in Greenland from 985 to 1450 AD. You will also find a nice shop with souvenirs (ulu, Inuit games...) handmade by the owner of the place.
