NARSAQ MUSEUM
Museum featuring permanent exhibitions on the history of the Viking settlers and exhibitions on local cultural themes.
Located on the old harbor, in the town's oldest houses, this small museum presents permanent exhibits on the history of Viking settlers (migrations, tools, clothing...) as well as exhibits on local cultural themes such as hunting or kayaking. Staff can also open the other houses, some of which contain a geological collection of rare rocks and minerals, presses and engravings from the old Sujumut newspaper that used to be printed here, and recent works by local artists.
