Museum with exhibits including copies of Herjolfsnæs' famous Viking clothing, a collection of kayaks and umiaks.
This open-air museum, located in the port area, is one of the most exciting in the country. Several old colonial houses contain beautiful displays where you can see copies of the famous Herjolfsnæs Viking clothing, a collection of kayaks and umiaks dating back to 1440 that are among the oldest found in Greenland (they were discovered in 1948 by explorer Eigil Knuth), old Inuit mud houses, summer tents and much more.
