Shop Nuunu is both a café (hot drinks and cakes) and a shop offering crafts made by local people. The materials used are recovered from the wild around Paamiut, and the hunted animals are never wasted since everything is consumed (meat) and reused (skin, bone, wood). Pearl jewellery including necklaces are also sold, made exclusively by women. Beading is an ancient Greenlandic tradition that has been modernized and is still used to decorate objects
