THE HOUSE OF NIELS LYNGE
Home of painter, draughtsman, poet and pastor Niels Lynge, with rooms featuring objects and furniture from the 1950s.
This house is a small historical treasure where you will find rooms with objects and furniture from the 1950s. Niels Lynge (1880- 1965) was locally and nationally recognized as a painter, draftsman, poet, pastor and many Greenlanders are still culturally influenced by him today. Thanks to his work as a pastor and for the Peqatigiinniat association, Lynge became known as a man who wanted to promote Christianity in the country but especially a united Greenland.
