Air Zafari is a local airline based in Narsarsuaq, Ilulissat and Kangerlussuaq. Flights are of variable duration and can be scheduled from day to day depending on the weather. All planes have large windows on each side of the seat for taking pictures. Our favourite excursion, to see the ice sheet from up there with its clear blue glacial rivers is priceless! Not to mention the possibility of flying over a herd of muskoxen, often difficult to observe on land, or other hidden treasures of the region.
