IPERAATAQ

Julien Caquineau is a former French alpinist and base base, located twelve years ago in Ilulissat, where he founded a family with a Greenlandic and three toddlers. Hunter and fisherman all year round (one of the few foreigners to have obtained the license in Greenland), he is also an experienced musher (iperaataq means whip) that will make you discover with passion, generosity and authenticity the Greenlandic culture and the beautiful surroundings of Ilulissat. A raw and unique experience in total immersion as close as possible, far from the tourist clichés. Julien also offers treks in summer and the rental of two houses in Oqaatsut or in a fjord a little further north. It is also possible to contact him for more specific filming or needs. To know: Julien is the only person to have attempted a parachute jump from a giant iceberg, and this will give you an idea of the character!
