Take a cruise from Ilulissat to the head of Disko Bay, where you'll have every chance of seeing whales in the water, even between the gigantic icebergs. Humpback whales, minke whales and even the mighty blue whale can be spotted here! The boats are fast and small (maximum 6 passengers), allowing you to get as close as possible for good photos. The most popular tour is the midnight cruise (departure at 9.30pm). Ilulissat's manager knows Disko Bay like the back of his hand!
