Following in Knud Rasmussen's footsteps, a 3-day dog sledding trip from Ilulissat with sublime landscapes.
This 3-day trip along the icefjord to Ilulissat generally consists of more than 100 sleds and 200 people with 1,200 dogs. A long-standing tradition, mushers follow the route taken by Knud Rasmussen during his expeditions almost a century earlier. It is a fantastic way to meet the locals while observing breathtaking scenery. And to say goodbye to winter since the sun shines for about 16 hours a day. No wonder the event is called Palerfik, "the place where you tan".
