You will quickly tour the Ittoqqortoormiit museum, which is relatively small. It houses many historical photographs, paintings, sculptures (tupilaks) and traditional costumes typical of the Eastern Inuit communities, reflecting the history of the region and allowing you to learn a little more about the traditions of the past, some of which are still present. The building was originally the city's shop and was then used for administration until it became a museum.
