This brewery was founded in 1912. In 1971, Kamoizumi became famous in Japan thanks to the production of a ginjo saké sake from husked rice up to 60% of its original size, an innovation for the time. His toji Yukio is considered to be the most respected of the masters brewers of Hiroshima.
