A stroll along this 800-metre-long street is conducive to the discovery of 177 bronze statues illustrating characters from the mangaka Shigeru Mizuki. The work of this Japanese artist, at the origin of a series of manga, created in 1959, called GeGeGe no Kitaro, Kitaro repulsing it in French, has had the effect of popularizing yokai once again among the general public. These supernatural creatures from Japanese folklore are waiting for you, day and night. Small shops and restaurants also line the street.
