Rakan-ji temple and Gohyaku-rakan are located side-by-side in the village of Nearby. A statue of Buddha surrounded by 500 small Buddhas of all different stones is located in two caves inside the temple built in the middle of the th century. To access it, borrow one of the three magnificent stone bridges that cross a stream.
