The museum is located on the website of the government office, Daikansho. It was the main facility for the control of the silver mine, and the officials of the tokugawa were assigned to it from the th century. The interior consists of several parts with dioramas of the mountain, the port and the villages surrounding it, the models on scale 1 of a well, some explanations of the different techniques of digging the precious metal on screens, scenes of the life of the villagers during the Edo period. There are also many tools, and even replicas of kilos silver ingots that can be entertained. A shop makes it possible to report some souvenirs in cash.
