With its 135 rooms, the Washington Hotel is very well located, right opposite the train station and a 5-minute walk from Takarazuka. The hotel's style is a bit old, with green carpet and pale pink bed covering, but the rooms remain comfortable and clean. Preferably choose a room with a view of the river, calmer and allow to admire cherry flowers in the spring. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. Three restaurants are located in the hotel's area: The Shimaya, very good Japanese restaurant, the Champs Elysée for a simpler kitchen, mix of Western and Japanese gastronomy, and Gaslight Bar whose specialty is steaks.
