Lost in the middle of the mountains, the Ryokan Koyokan Bettei Azalée is a real little corner of paradise, perfect for a relaxing stay. Twelve rooms in the form of cottages are available for visitors, including 5 rooms with a river view, 5 rooms with mountain view and 2 double rooms. Four of the apartments have two single beds, the rest two single beds and a room with tatamis where two futons can be installed. Each room has a private onsen and a terrace. The view from the latter is an explosion of nature: flowers, trees with changing colors following the season, river below. We feel really quiet. Public onsen is free with outdoor and indoor bath. In the lobby, a bar offers free drinks in free service. Lunch, dinner and breakfast are served in the finest Japanese style. The dishes are presented in the utsuwa dishes of Kyōto, which is changed twice a month.
