OSAMU TEZUKA MUSEUM
Tezuka Osamu arrived at the age of 5 in Takarazuka city and this is where he began drawing and creating what will later become major works of manga and Japanese animation. From the entrance hall of the museum, we are transported to the artist's universe with reminders of his work wherever the eye arises.
On the first floor are drawings and drafts of the artist, leaflets of his sketch books, his collection of insects. A documentary, where Osamu himself speaks, traces his work and his life. A projection room of 52 people offers a selection of original animated films every month. In the basement, the museum's claw is undoubtedly the animation workshop where you can draw and animate your own character on computers from another era. On the first floor, three temporary exhibitions a year are proposed around the world of animation and pop culture. Search terminals are available for free viewing of old animated episodes. A library compiles almost 2,000 volumes of Tezuka works in different languages. Don't miss the museum, like Hollywood boulevard, the plates with the fingerprints of the heroes of Tezuka Osamu.
